Connolly Sustainable Energy Community
CCEA are delighted to work with the Connolly SEC, part of Connolly Tidy Villages, to create the Energy Master Plan for the community

- Read the Connolly Energy Baseline to understand current energy usage in Connolly
- 10 one-to-one Energy Clinics were held in people's homes to allow them to ask specific questions about their own home
- 8 BER's were carried out on houses in the community, to identify the typical upgrades that are most relevant for people.
- An information evening on Solar PV was held, with installers present, to inform people on the advantages of generating their own electricity (See the presentation)
- An information afternoon was organised to give information about the Healthy Age Friendly Homes scheme which provides individual support for over 65's to ensure they receive all the various governament and council supports that are available
- An Energy Audit was completed for the school to identify what improvements can be made to the energy performance
- Energy focussed recommendations for the future Connolly Community Centre have been made.
